Brigham Young University-Hawai'i supports the health and well-being of our student, faculty, and community. Consistent with the State of Hawai'i Department of Health, exemptions from vaccination requirements may be requested on the basis of sincerely held, bona fide religious tenets and practices. Each request will be reviewed in accordance with applicable State and University standards.

Exemption requests and related documentation must be sent and received at least 30 days prior to the start of a semester.

Please note: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not prohibit the practice of immunization. (Refer to General Handbook 38.7.13)
